There are some people that have so much energy that they are able to go from morning 'til night - all the time, year after year. Unfortunately, I never seemed to be one of those people. However, I always wanted to be and wondered what particular things they did (if anything) to achieve their boundless energy.
When I first heard about oil pulling, I was intrigued.
I was hopeful that it would be something that would work for me as it had others. One of the things I read and heard about was that it would help cleanse my whole body and perhaps give me greater energy. I thought to myself, "I am on board with anything that could help me with that!" :-)
However, at the same time, a little part of me wondered how swishing a little oil around in my mouth for a few minutes each day could have any major impact on my health?
Well, I'm here to say that everything I read and heard about regarding this therapy is totally, 100% true! I did receive the gift of greater energy and stamina but it didn't occur right away.
I kept at it and the more I did it, the more I liked what was happening. I found this therapy to be very easy and gentle on the body and something that I soon looked forward to doing quite regularly.
(It shouldn't have surprised me that this technique worked as well as it has because the science of Ayurveda has been around for thousands of years!)
For those of you that can make time to do this (daily is recommended) you will be witness to a slow but steady detoxification within your body. The process of detoxification can result in a wide variety of positive benefits and may differ from person to person.

This cleansing therapy works by using cold pressed oils and swishing the oil back and forth in the mouth.
